A must try if you even remotely enjoy BBQ. This is the best BBQ in the Portland area, hands down. Everything was perfectly moist and tender, everything was seasoned expertly, and it was so filling. We intentionally didn’t eat anything before this so we’d show up hungry and we thought for sure we would devour every bite, but we still ended up taking home leftovers. You will not regret eating here, just be sure to get here early because they sell out of stuff fast!
I cannot wait to come back. They're dishing out some of the best mac n cheese in the city here. The sausage was snappy and the brisket was really great as well. Definitely will come back and get some kielbasa and some of the Texas hot links.
Got the pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, cheesy brisket hash, and fries. All were delicious, I love coming here. My only “negative” was tonight I asked for the Texas sauce and they gave me white spicy cheddar instead and it was in the cheesy hash so I couldn’t just remove it. Still was delicious, but unfortunate they messed up
The food was delish! Definitely recommend Bottos for some good BBQ, the service was good , the sides were amazing! I loved the cole slaw and the Mac n Cheese was also one of the best I’ve ever had.
Really impressed with the BBQ. The ribs were very moist with the perfect little tug to remove from the bone. The sauce was on the side as it should be when the meat is that well prepared. Sides were great with the beans and spicy mac&cheese the stars at our table. Staff was very friendly and the food was ready quickly. Limited parking behind the building but street parking was available too. It was pretty busy at 1PM on a Wednesday with most of the indoor tables in use and half of the outdoor picnic tables were busy.
I was recommended this place. I got a 2 meat dinner. I give the brisket 5 stars, it was great. Moist, flavorful, no sauce needed. Best brisket in Portland. The sausage was 0 stars. The worst sausage I have ever had. It was dry, tough, wrinkly, and I couldn’t cut it with their plastic knives. The flavor wasn’t great either. I’m assuming I just got a really bad one cause all their other food was great. It was expensive. 30 dollars plus tip without a drink. Get the brisket, don’t waste your money on the sausage.

The food is always amazing. The ribs, turkey, pulled pork, and brisket are all delicous and have that perfect amount of smokey taste you want with bbq. They have the best mac and cheese in Portland. The Thursday special is pastrami brisket, and it's to die for. The staff is really kind and accommodating.
